In 1999 @kellywearstler was hired by Brad Korzen t

In 1999 @kellywearstler was hired by Brad Korzen to redecorate the @avalonhotels in Beverly Hills. It opened in 1948 as the Beverly Carlton (Sam Reisbord architect, Alvin Lustig contributing designer). Once frequented by the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Lucille Ball, the hotel was renovated to blend old Hollywood with a midcentury vibe. Wearstler used Eames, Nelson, Noguchi, and Ackerman pieces.
